Friends

A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe
like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps
a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where
would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend.
This is my friend Darren Downey...he is a student at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College doing an Arts degree with
a major in English. He is foolish, nice, soft hearted and honest. We met during intersession of 2003 through mutual friends
while I attended his rez room party. We went to school together all this past summer and had a blast just hanging out all
over Corner Brook, watching movies, going on Pub crawls and eating...lol. In the future, Darren wants to become an English
teacher or go overseas to teach English. Hmmm....I dunno about that but my vision for Darren's future would be to write interesting
articles for the Playboy magazine...lol.

This is my friend Todd Gillingham...he used to play with the St.John Maple Leafs, now he plays for the Corner
Brook Royals. He goes to school at MUN doing a double major in Business and Sociology. He's very intelligent, athletic,
fun, and easy-going. He also has a lot of patience too, especially to put up with me all day long....lol. We met in March
of 2003 through a mutual friend (Adam Gardner). We went to school during the summer of 2003 and are now doing 3 courses together.
In the future, tell you truth I don't know what Todd wants to do, but maybe with some convincing he'll come and work in my
line of profession.....just imagine, we'll be the new Masters and Johnson....lol.
