I love my pets!

Dacota

Dacota aka lil' Pud or Coda is now a 8 or 9 year old dog. He is half Irish Setter and half Labrador Retriever. He enjoys swimming, going for walks, catching birds and rabbits. He is very calm and loves to be around people.

Picture of him will soon be available!

Chip (RIP)

Here's Chip. We had him for as long as I could remember. He was given to us when the female cockateil flew out of the cage and the previous owners thought he would get lonely. He passed away in 2001 (I think). He was 20 something years old when he died. I really don't think it was from old age though. We moved him into Amber's room the day before he passed on and I figure that she smothered him from all the hairspray she uses.

pig.jpg

Well this picture isn't of any of the pigs I owned...but all of them look alike anyways.

Over the years we had Murray, Wilbur, Henrietta, Henry  and I think that's about it. They're all dead now though....slaughtered and made into roasts and bacon...mmmm.

PIGS are one of my favorite animals, they are soo smart, seriously though.

Well I'll tell you about Henry and Henrietta, when we got them both, Henrietta was sick, after a few days she died. Henry was really sweet he would lie next to her and keep her warm in the night. When Henrietta was gone, I would climb in the pen with him and pet him. In the end, he got a sunburn on his head and we had to put sunscreen on his head every morning. I think he was my favorite...when I would yell out "Souey" he would come running and I would give him extra cooked potatoes for supper. Maybe that's why he was sooo fat!! Delicious Though :)

duck.jpg

Here is a duck...not the duck we owned though. Pretty close to it though. We only raised ducks once....we had 3 of them. Ducks are cute when they are young but they shit all over you and when they get older they are more of a nuisance than anything. They shit in their drinking water and are hard to catch when they get out of the cage. They also bite hard too. Well that's about all I can think about.....beside that they were delicious too. I remember that we ate one on Christmas of that year though. They were huge too ranging from 20 -25 lbs....like the size of a small dog...lol.
